Integrierte Weiterbildungsberichterstattung

Der vorliegende Bericht beinhaltet wesentliche Inhalte und Ergebnisse des Projektes „Integrierte Weiterbildungsberichterstattung – Aufbau einer systematischen Berichterstattung zur beruflichen Weiterbildung (iWBBe)“, welches im Zeitraum von August 2020 bis Oktober 2022 im Rahmen eines Kooperationsprojektes vom BIBB und DIE im Auftrag des BMBF bearbeitet wurde. Er liefert Ansatzpunkte, um eine verbesserte Kohärenz und damit Qualität in der Berichterstattung zu erreichen. Als kurzfristige Maßnahme wird die Umsetzung eines digitalen, interaktiven „Dashboard Weiterbildung“ angeregt, um Verfügbarkeit, Auffindbarkeit und Integration von Informationen zur beruflichen Weiterbildung zu verbessern. Daneben werden Verbesserungspotenziale für die inhaltliche Aussagekraft aufgezeigt, indem die Steuerungsbereiche beruflicher Weiterbildung mit den vorhandenen Datenquellen möglichst vollumfänglich ausgeschöpft, die Datendefizite systematisch behoben und die Weiterbildungsforschung künftig direkt mit der Berichterstattung verknüpft werden.

This report contains the main contents and results of the project "Integrated Continuing Education and Training Reporting - Development of Systematic Reporting on Continuing Vocational Education and Training (iWBBe)", which was carried out in the period from August 2020 to October 2022 as part of a cooperation project between BIBB and DIE on behalf of the BMBF. It provides starting points for achieving improved coherence and thus quality in reporting. As a short-term measure, the implementation of a digital, interactive "Continuing Education Dashboard" is suggested in order to improve the availability, findability and integration of information on continuing vocational education and training. In addition, potential for improving the informative value of the content is identified by exploiting the control areas of continuing vocational education and training as fully as possible with the existing data sources, systematically eliminating data deficits and linking continuing education and training research directly with reporting in the future.
