The Global South and the Future of World Order presents an analysis of some of the fundamental, new processes in international politics today from a multi-regional perspective originating from the “Global South.”

What feasible institutional, normative/cultural, technological, and economic solutions coming from intellectuals from the Global South can be proposed to make the international order more inclusive and better governed and thus more stable, more prosperous, and peaceful? By answering this question, the book innovatively contributes to the explanation of potential directions, depth, consistency, and durability of current shifts in international relations originating in the Global South. Contributions from internationally renowned scholars from different parts of the Global South present politically and culturally diverse perspectives. They explore the political, economic, institutional, and social consequences of the growing influence of the Global South and examine the contested political subjectivities of the Global South itself. The various policy alternatives to advance institutional, social, financial, technological, security, and cultural interests of the Global South are also discussed.
