As we move deeper into the 21st century, this book intends to advance the practice and science of polygraphy by offering a different perspective. Rather than dismissing individual and situational variability as irrelevant “noise” to be controlled or ignored, it argues that such variability should be addressed through an adaptive approach to polygraph testing.
