Dr. Sapana Jadoun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Universidad de Tarapacá, Arica, Chile, and an Associated Researcher at the Solar Energy Research Centre (SERC-Chile) under FONDAP ANID. She completed postdoctoral research at the Universidad de Concepción in Chile. Dr. Jadoun earned her Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry (2019) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India, and her M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Rajasthan. Before joining the Universidad de Tarapacá, she served as an Assistant Professor at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth and Jaipur National University in India. She has been recognized among the world’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford-Elsevier (2023–2025) and the best scientist of the year award by Scientific Laurels in 2025. Her research expertise centers on the environmental and materials chemistry, with a particular focus on the development of advanced materials for photocatalysis, adsorption, pollutant removal, resource recovery, and environmental remediation for maintaining the circular economy.
