John Opute is Associate Professor in International HRM at London South Bank University, UK, and Course Director of its International HRM MSc. He has over 20 years industry experience of general and human resources management and has held key HR positions in several multinational companies across the globe. His research focuses on comparative international HRM and employee participation and has been published in numerous books and peer-reviewed journals. A member of the editorial board of several international journals, he is also a visiting academic at Carlos III University, Spain, and Institut de Gestion Sociale (IGS), France.
