Dr Pawan Verma is an author, thought leader, professional speaker and Management Consultant, whose passionate intellectual curiosities have often led him to challenge conventional wisdom. His expertise in leadership stems from his wide experience in guiding start-ups, serving on boards and leading business initiatives in large organizations, such as LIC of India, Reliance Group of Industries, Reliance ADA Group and Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance. Pawan has authored an award-winning book, Age of the Imperfect Leader that presents a contrarian point of view on leadership and offers a new model of leadership for the twenty-first century. Pawan has also authored two crime thrillers, UNBROKEN and No Closure No Forgiveness, and published several e-books and short stories. He has also written for some of India’s leading dailies and periodicals. Pawan has been awarded the REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship and REX Karmaveer Chakra Award by iCONGO—International Confederation of NGOs—in association with the United Nations, for his relentless pursuit of innovative ideas and alternative actions for social transformation. He lives in Navi Mumbai along with his wife and other family members.
