Dr Zhiguo Wang delves into this groundbreaking sub-discipline of pharmacology, offering a comprehensive guide to not just extending lifespan, but also promoting vibrant health and vitality throughout the aging process. Aging, once viewed as an inevitable decline, is reframed as a target for therapeutic intervention. Dr Wang unveils the multifaceted nature of aging, influenced by both genetic and environmental factors, and introduces the concept of treating aging as a ‘disease’ to be managed pharmacologically. Through a multi-targeted approach, he reveals how strategically designed interventions can synergistically target age-related processes, offering new avenues for combating the ravages of time. This monograph guides readers through the complex landscape of polypharmacology; Whether you're a scientist, a student, a pharmaceutical staff member, or a healthcare professional dedicated to promoting healthy aging, it is an indispensable resource.
